Terms of Service

Last updated: July 9, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and MasterRecruitment, a golf recruiting service operated by John Cohorn as a sole proprietor based in Texas (“MasterRecruitment,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility; parents and minors

Our service supports junior golfers, many of whom are under 18. If the athlete is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must create and control the account, and by doing so represents that they are the athlete’s parent or legal guardian, that they are at least 18 years old, and that they agree to these Terms on the athlete’s behalf. The parent or guardian is responsible for all activity on the account, including reviewing and approving any communications sent through the service.

3. What MasterRecruitment does

MasterRecruitment provides tools and assistance for the college golf recruiting process. This includes organizing target schools, matching athletes to college programs, generating draft outreach emails and follow-ups for your review, helping you send approved emails from your own connected email account, tracking coach replies, and providing recruiting guidance and next steps.

4. No guarantee of recruiting outcomes

MasterRecruitment does not guarantee any recruiting result. We do not promise or guarantee that you will be recruited, receive a scholarship or financial aid, be offered a roster spot, receive any response from a college coach, or achieve any particular outcome.

College recruiting depends on many factors outside our control, including your athletic and academic performance, coaches’ independent decisions, program needs, timing, and NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, and school-specific rules. What we provide is help with the process: better-organized outreach, personalized drafts, timely follow-ups, and guidance on next steps. Any statistics, examples, or testimonials describe past experiences and are not a promise of similar results for you.

5. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

  • Provide accurate information, including honest scores, grades, and athletic history.
  • Review and approve outreach before it is sent; you are responsible for the content you send.
  • Use the service in compliance with all applicable recruiting rules (NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, and school policies) and applicable law.
  • Do not use the service to send spam, harassing, false, or unlawful messages.
  • Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Keep your account credentials secure and do not share your account.

6. Email authorization

If you connect an email account (such as Gmail), you authorize MasterRecruitment to send the emails you approve from that account and to read incoming email as needed to detect and process coach replies, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may disconnect this access at any time. You remain responsible for all messages sent from your account through the service.

7. Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Fees, billing periods, and what is included are presented at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. We may change our prices on a going-forward basis with notice. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund the current period.

8. Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your own data), is owned by MasterRecruitment and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the information you provide, and you grant us the right to use it to operate and provide the service to you.

9. Third-party services

The service relies on third parties (including Google, Supabase, Anthropic, OpenAI, Resend, Stripe, and Vercel) and may link to third-party websites such as college athletics pages. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third parties, including the accuracy of college or coach contact information gathered from public sources.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION (INCLUDING COLLEGE OR COACH DATA) IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MASTERRECRUITMENT AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF RECRUITING OPPORTUNITY, SCHOLARSHIPS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MasterRecruitment and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, the content you send, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4 and 8–12) will survive.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
